Get your items ready for the Brookwood Community Yard Sale to be held at 8 am – noon on Saturday, April 16th. The count was close for those who emailed in their preferences for dates, but the decision was made after finding out that Kelly Point and Cypress Trails will also host yard sales on that day.

Homeowners are welcome to hang balloons or temporary signage in their yards to let people know you are participating and open for business. Those with only a few items to sell may congregate at the open yard area by the park. Bring your own table(s).

Your HOA board members will arrange for a notice to be placed on the Nocatee website. They will also post signs at the entrances to attract those who drive by the area.  Make sure to spread the word through your social networks to ensure maximum visibility.

Start cleaning out your garage and closets! Plans are in the works for a Brookwood Yard Sale in April. The HOA will supply large “Yard Sale Next Saturday” signs at both entrances the week of the sale, signs for the day of the sale and ensure a notice on Nocatee.com.

For homeowners with only small things or only a few items for sale, tables could be grouped at the playground area — this way buyers could park in just one spot and wander among the tables.  This would only work if there are enough people to participate — there might be room for 10-12 individual areas to set up.
