The board ensures that the common areas of the neighborhood are maintained and enforces the rights and obligations outlined in the community’s Declaration of Covenants and Restrictions.

Architectural Review Board – Reviews and approves homeowner submissions of improvements to the exterior of the home per the Architectural Review Criteria & Procedure Manual.

Your HOA Board Members currently serve on this committee.

Communication Committee – Ensures HOA members are aware of events and situations involving the community by maintaining the HOA Website. The website houses all association documents and includes a blog that sends out notices about upcoming meetings and events to those who subscribe to the site’s news posts. Look for the signup bar toward the bottom right of the home page.

Chair: Terry Jones

Covenant Enforcement Committee – Reviews violations of the association governing documents and upholds penalties including fines as allowed by law if deemed necessary to enforce compliance.

Holiday Decorations — Decorates the entrances for the end-of-year holidays.

Chair: Yianni Demopoulos

Property Committee – Oversees community property maintenance including common area landscaping, entrance and playground areas.

Members: Elaine Prisby, Amy Contolini, Sandy Steiner

Social & Welcome Committee — Plans HOA-sponsored events and warmly welcomes each new household to our neighborhood while providing information about Brookwood, Nocatee and the surrounding areas.

Members: Natalie Rooke (Social), John Demopoulos, June Walker-Tillet and Mary Elizabeth Hayes


ASSOCIATION MANAGEMENT COMPANY

This administrative arm of the HOA handles financial aspects including paying monthly expenses and collecting assessments, processes property improvement submissions, coordinates mailings, membership meetings and reports, and acts as the primary contact for homeowners who have questions and comments about association rules and regulations.
