Residents of Brookwood no longer need to call the City of Jacksonville for bulky waste pick-ups. From now on, bulky waste will be picked up on recycle day, which is every other week on Friday. Simply place bulky waste items next to your recycle cart for pick-up.

Bulky waste includes furniture, mattresses, rolled carpet and other household items too large to fit inside your garbage cart. No single bulk item should weigh more than 40 pounds. Appliances or tires still require a special request for pick-up by calling 630-CITY (2489).
