Wayside Lane wins a third Holiday Lights contest

Congratulations to the Larson family whose lights display at the corner of Wayside and Willow Ridge won the Brookwood HOA-sponsored contest for 2018. They will receive a gift certificate for $50 at the Valley Smoke Restaurant for their efforts.

Featuring Santa feeding his hungry reindeer, the Larsens also took the prize two years ago. There appears to be a rivalry with their neighbors, the Hoepners, who won the contest last year.

Thank you to all property owners who participated and made the community look bright for the holiday season. Thanks also go to property manager Jeff Edwards, who made a special trip to judge the contest.

We also appreciate the efforts of Denise Spain and Patty Lurz Shlafer for decorating both of the entrances for the community.
