Spring Social this Sunday!

It should be nice weather for the HOA-sponsored Spring Social at 4pm on Sunday, April 29th, at the playground. The intent of the social is to bring old and new neighbors together so they can meet each other.

Snacks will be provided and children can enjoy the playground while parents have an opportunity to meet one another.

The social will also be a good opportunity to see pictures of a style of a covered bench that is being considered for just outside the playground area.

So walk, drive, bike or cart to the playground on Sunday and meet some new faces!

Roscolusa returns on Saturday

The 7th annual Roscolusa Songwriters Festival returns to Nocatee on April 28th, from 5-10pm.

Bring lawn chairs and coolers and listen to songs performed by the original songwriters and hear the stories behind them! Check out the lineup HERE.

A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Tom Coughlin Jay Fund with a mission to help families tackle childhood cancer.

Spring Social slated for April 29th

Mark your calendars for an HOA-sponsored Spring Social at 4pm on Sunday, April 29th, at the playground. The intent of the social is to bring old and new neighbors together so they can meet each other.

It’s hard for most of us to consider ourselves “old” neighbors, but on average, Brookwood now welcomes new homeowners about once a month, said Terry Jones, who leads the Communications Committee for the HOA. Committee members thought that it would be a good idea to hold an event to get everyone together now and then.  So, the Spring Social is the first attempt to do that.

Snacks will be provided and children can enjoy the playground while parents have an opportunity to meet one another. If it rains, the social will be rescheduled for another weekend.

Timberland Ridge Grand Opening Tomorrow

Join the Nocatee community in celebrating Timberland Ridge with a celebration on Saturday, January 13th, from 10:30am- 3:30pm. Builders will be on site to assist and share updates on newly-available home designs.

The event will feature free food trucks, a mobile game truck and tours of five model homes built by David Weekley Homes, ICI Homes and Providence Homes.

2017 Brookwood Holiday Lights Contest

The community is starting to sparkle for the season and you have two more weekends to start decorating or enhance your display for a chance to win a $50 gift certificate to the Caffe Andiamo in Sawgrass Village.

The contest, sponsored by the Brookwood HOA, will be judged the evening of Tuesday, December 19th, by Matt Ciupak, property manager at BCM Services. Our judge will be looking for creativity, color schemes, amount of lights, coordination of displays, overall appearance, animation and originality.

The winning homeowner(s) will be announced by a news post on the HOA website the following day. Let’s make this a competition where we all have fun and entertain each other in the process!

A notice already has been placed on the Nocatee website. Your HOA board members will also post signs at the entrances to attract those who drive by the area.  Make sure to spread the word through your social networks to ensure maximum visibility.
