The three ponds at Brookwood are healthy and close to their designed depths, according to an annual inspection report recently conducted by Aquatic Systems, Inc. The company monitors and treats the ponds monthly per a contract it has with the HOA.
Both the pond at the northeast corner of Wayfare and Valley Ridge and the one behind homes on the southeast end of Willow Ridge were noted as looking good and having their water levels back to normal.
The pond behind homes on the southeast end of Wayfare was reported to have a slightly low water level and a minor planktonic algae bloom on one end for which it is being treated. All ponds are monitored and treated on a monthly basis. The company also removes any trash and debris from the ponds and checks the weir barriers to ensure proper drainage.
